Small Group Intensive Chinese Program

Join That’s Mandarin for our Small Group Intensive Program: a full-time immersion course including language classes, excursions and cultural activities. Intended for beginners, (intermediate and advanced students can apply to our One-on-One Intensive Program), this program familiarizes students with the fundamentals of Chinese and prepares them for real-world Mandarin use.
Our teachers employ a practical approach to instruction, with an emphasis on speaking, while ensuring that students develop a thorough understanding of the language as a whole. By the end of this course, students should feel confident in their ability to “get around” China and ready to pursue further studies.
Upon completion of the course, students are provided with a detailed account of the course content, a mentor’s evaluation, and an official certification.
Our students attend or have graduated from a wide range of universities, including University of Cambridge, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, MIT, Northeastern University, Stanford University, and University of British Columbia.

That's Mandarin makes the learning experience enjoyable since it is more conversational based rather than constant book learning.
The school's story method and repetition has helped expand my vocabulary. I really enjoy the enthusiasm of the language instructors and the comfort of the classrooms. In addition, the conversational style of teaching helps improve my Mandarin quickly. The best way toimprove is to speak and not worry about making mistakes. That's Mandarin is great at forcing you to speak up and learn practical conversation from experience.
